Создатели НМ в своих журналах любят
приводить высказывания разных ученых,
высказывающихся положительно о
"переводе". Но, как правило, их
слова либо вырываются из контекста,
либо им придается неправильный смысл.
"Доктор Менти, выдающийся знаток
греческого языка, был одним из тех, чьи
слова исказили. "Сторожевая Башня"
утверждала, что он одобряет их перевод,
но сам доктор Менти с этим не согласен:

Свидетели никогда не утверждали, что д-р Менти высказывался положительно о переводе НМ. Я приведу цитаты из публикаций, когда встречаются его высказывания.
"Says the book A Manual Grammar of the Greek New Testament, by Dana and Mantey, D.D., on page 107, under the heading Katб: “(3) With the accusative case: Along, at, according to. Luke 10:4, . . . ‘Salute no one along the road.’ Also in the distributive sense: Acts 2:46 kat’ oikon, from house to house: Luke 2:41 kat’ etos, from year to year; 1 Cor. 14:27, katа dyo, by twos. "Another challenge as to accuracy has to do with what is known as the “present imperative” in Greek [Сноска: See A Manual Grammar of the Greek New Testament, Dana & Mantey, pp. 300-303.]. It denotes continuous or repeated action. Its distinctiveness is, by and large, ignored by Bible translators. For example, at Luke 11:9, 10 nearly all read as does the New English Bible (NEB): “So I say to you, ask, and you will receive; seek, and you will find; knock, and the door will be opened. For everyone who asks receives, he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks, the door will be opened.”

"In the Greek text the word for “God” [Theou] is in the genitive case. Now in Greek as well as in English the genitive case can mean a number of different relations or connections that the word in the genitive case has to the person or thing that it modifies.
According to Dr. A. T. Robertson it can be a genitive of a number of kinds, such as the Possessive Genitive, the Attributive Genitive, the Subjective Genitive, the Objective Genitive. One Greek grammar explains the genitive of source or author by saying: “The Subjective Genitive. We have the subjective genitive when the noun in the genitive produces the action, being therefore related as subject to the verbal idea of the noun modified. . . . The preaching of Jesus Christ. Rom. 16:25.”

Стоит одно и тоже греческое слово,
свидетели переводят его совсем в разных
значениях. |
Я конечно в греческом дуб дубом, но даже простое сравнение показывает ложность такого вывода.
Где же тут одно и то же греческое слово?
